Journey No. 10: VIETCOMBANK TOWER HCMC – EXTENDING TRUST ACROSS ICONIC STRUCTURES

An iconic landmark is defined not only by its steel and concrete but by the weight of trust built over decades. Behind the imposing stature of Vietcombank Towers at both ends of the country lies a journey of enduring commitment through the flow of time. Before rising proudly on the Saigon skyline, Bachy Soletanche Vietnam established its prestige with the Vietcombank project at 198 Tran Quang Khai, Hanoi, in the late 1990s. The meticulousness displayed in the heart of that old quarter was the solid promise that led the Client to entrust us with the mission of creating a masterpiece by the Saigon River years later. From the Capital to Me Linh Square, it was more than just the mobilization of giant rigs; it was the inheritance of “steel-like reputation” where every meter of diaphragm wall deep in the earth is a commitment to eternal stability.

Vietcombank Tower is more than just a Grade A office building; it is a testament to Bachy Soletanche Vietnam’s continuous partnership with the growth of the nation’s financial sector. Each pile deep in the ground is an affirmation of the sustainable trust our strategic partners have placed in us over the decades.

When admiring this tower reflecting on the river, have you ever wondered about the massive “root system” clinging 70m deep into the earth to keep it standing firm?

Can you believe that a single foundation pile can withstand a load of thousands of tons?
