 6 barrette piles (2.8 m × 0.6 m), 44.5 m – 46.5 m in depth

 

Project Scale: 19-storey office building with 2 basements, executed by the top-down method.

 

 

 During diaphragm wall construction at a depth of 22 m in the heart of District 1, the team encountered rare challenges: rising groundwater levels and tight working conditions for heavy machinery. With creativity and persistence, the project was successfully delivered on schedule.

A memorable detail: the barrette piles were drilled down to strong bearing soil layers beneath the city – something never attempted before in Ho Chi Minh City at that time. From controlling the stability of the slurry, lowering massive reinforcement cages to concreting every centimetre precisely, our engineers ensured a foundation that remains robust and reliable to this day.

 More than just a building, Harbour View Tower was the birthplace of the “nothing is impossible” spirit at Bachy Soletanche Group – where young Vietnamese engineers learned, grew, and built a strong sense of professional pride.

 

Harbour View Tower was not only our very first project but also the symbolic beginning of over 115 major projects we have successfully delivered across Vietnam.
