On the afternoon of July 5th, 2025, in Da Nang City, the Vietnam Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering – Central Chapter (VSSMGE) successfully organized the 2025 Geotechnical Summer Workshop. The event brought together numerous experts, engineers, contractors, and representatives from leading organizations in the construction, geotechnical, and foundation engineering sectors.
🔎 Bachy Soletanche Vietnam Contributes with a Key Technical Presentation
Representing the Technical Department of Bachy Soletanche Vietnam, Mr. Luu Nguyen Vu – Deputy Technical Manager delivered a focused technical presentation titled:
“Circular Diaphragm Wall – From Theory to Practical Application.”

The presentation was based on research findings and practical experience during the design, construction, and supervision of a 47-meter-deep pumping shaft at the Wastewater Treatment Plant project. This case study was also published in VSSMGE Bulletin No. 8, showcasing Bachy Soletanche Vietnam’s technical contributions to advancing geotechnical practices in Vietnam.
