Beneath the dazzling lights of Grand Marina Saigon lies one of the deepest and most complex foundation systems ever constructed in Ho Chi Minh City. Before the high-rise towers began to rise along the Saigon River, Bachy Soletanche Vietnam was already on site – delivering the structural backbone of the entire development.It is a journey defined by precision, advanced engineering, and the dedication of teams working quietly beneath the surface to support an iconic skyline.
📌 Project Description:
🕒 Construction period: February 2021 – June 2021
🏗️ Scale: Highrise Building from 45 to 47 storeys + 4 basements
🏗️ Scope of Works:
- 488 m diaphragm wall, 1.0 m & 1.2 m thick, 38 m – 40 m – 44 m deep
- 352 shaft-grouted bored piles, 1.0 m – 1.5 m – 1.8 m diameter, 70 m – 84 m deep
- 2 plain bored piles, 0.8 m diameter, 37 m deep
- 265 kingposts, with maximum length of 29.4 m

- Application of shaft-grouted bored piles to enhance load-bearing capacity in complex riverbank soil conditions.
